He's at S.P.A in Quebec now, they say he's about 4 months old. A cutie with blue eyes and white fur. Will be up for adoption within a few days. www.spadequebec.ca
At least now he will have an excellent chance of getting adopted!
So this got me nostalgic of my other kitty stories...so here's a few.
ACE'S STORY
When we were living in the Saguenay Lac St-Jean regon, PL came home with a cat...a skinny, stinky cat. But a sweetheart we couldn't resist. He had so much crap stuck in his fur (branches, leaves, you name it!) we had to get him shaved. He had ear mites, worms, ear infections, eye infections, a scraped nose...He looked pathetic.
But with a little love and a chance, he found a home! With my mom, who couldn't resist his charms.
The before shot...

On his way to his new home (5½ hour drive, he loved the ride!)

Getting comfortable in his new home...

AND NOW FOR MY
KIDS :)
FUZZYBUTT (A.K.A. Cocotte, Vieille chialeuse ;))
My first cat. I got her in 1996 at a petshop. I was looking for a quiet cat, not too vocal. So there she was in this huge cage surrounded by about 10 other kittens. She was sitting in the litter box...I suppose to get some peace and quiet...and I fell in love! She's a special one that Fuzzybutt...she's got a strong character. You don't mess with her! So drum roll please...

SHISHI (A.K.A. Poopoo)
We saved Poopoo from a tree when we were living in Montreal. We had heard a cat crying for a few days but couldn't figure out where it was coming from. We finally saw her, up high in a tree. We called everywhere for help. Unlike in the movies, no one helped, no friendly neighbourhood firemen, nada. So PL climbed up the balconies of the building (3 of them!) put a 2X4 in the tree and put food at the other end, and hoped for the best. She finally came, he put her in a pack sac and passed her to me. She was only 3 months old and had been in the tree for at least 3 days, she had her head between the branches to hold herself up to stop from falling. Poor thing.
She's been with us ever since, despite Fuzzybutt's protests! Drum roll...

IMMA
Imma was abandoned by her mom in our backyard here in Quebec. Her mom had had 5 kittens, and we fed them and planned to try to catch them all and bring them to the ACSA in Quebec. But one by one they disapeared unti'll only she was left. The ACSA was still suppose to take her, but she was on a waiting list. She was a scared little thing. We couldn't approach her at all, she would run away and hiss. So we built her a shelter. When spring came, we caught her so we could get her fixed. But we we're too late, she was expecting. Oh crap. So we built a bigger shelter for her. She had 4 kittens, one died at birth. The ASCA finally had place for her, but she had the kittens so we decided to wait unti'll they were old enough. We fell in looooooove with all 3 kittens. So much fun to watch them grow up in the backyard. They we're all adopted!! And For Imma, once the kittens were gone, she came aroung and let me hand feed her. So bit by bit (after a year!!!!) she let me pet her! And now she lives inside and is the best cat ever! Sweet and affectionate....Drumroll...
Imma & Kittens
Ummm...that's it for now!

Aaaawwwww!!! I want more cats!!! ;)
RépondreSupprimerThey are all adorable. Now, I feel really bad about that poor lil' white kitten..
All your cats seem a little crazy and antisocial. good match with you. hehehe! Of course not! Sweet, quiet cats that people really get attached to (I know I shouldn't finish a sentence with a preposition, so I am writing this instead of finishing the sentence with a preposition).
Sont tellement beaux les minous!!!!!
